Very Interesting book. A running friend recommended it to me. I thought it was going to talk about how to be a good runner. Yet it talked about a group of Indians named the Tarahmara. They live in Central Mexico and run everywhere, with only rubber sandals. These Indians can run hundreds of miles at a time, and at an incredible pace. And the book goes on to tell you why. In the end I realized that I don't need to buy new running shoes each year. I learned that protein isn't the best before a race, and it is ok to run bare-foot on the beach. Very interesting book. Dear Readers,
When I started teaching... I started reading. I read all the 6-8 grade literature and then more. I now LOVE reading and ALWAY have a book on my dresser. Reading lets my mind wonder into a new world without diapers and crying babies. But reading is more fun when you share. For this blog I will write about the GOOD books I read. I will write about books that are worthy of reading and ones I truly recommend. Enjoy your readings.
