Dear Readers,

When I started teaching... I started reading. I read all the 6-8 grade literature and then more. I now LOVE reading and ALWAY have a book on my dresser. Reading lets my mind wonder into a new world without diapers and crying babies. But reading is more fun when you share. For this blog I will write about the GOOD books I read. I will write about books that are worthy of reading and ones I truly recommend. Enjoy your readings.

A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard

This is a true story about Jaycee Dugard who was kidnapped at age 14 on her way to school. She spent the next 18 years living in the backyard of her kidnappe'rs home. Jaycee never left the backyard & bore 2 children. She endured much. I can only imagine how hard it was for her to write her story. My eyes were opened to this horrible crime. And my eyes watered along with Jaycee.
