Dear Readers,

When I started teaching... I started reading. I read all the 6-8 grade literature and then more. I now LOVE reading and ALWAY have a book on my dresser. Reading lets my mind wonder into a new world without diapers and crying babies. But reading is more fun when you share. For this blog I will write about the GOOD books I read. I will write about books that are worthy of reading and ones I truly recommend. Enjoy your readings.

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand

I loved loved loved this biography. It is a story of a man named Louis Zamperini. He experienced everything from being in the 1940 Olympics, becoming a lieutenant, being a POW and more. It is amazing how much one person came overcome. Louis had an experience of a lifetime. I truly loved reading his story and seeing him overcome the challenges placed upon him. After reading the book I thought about it for days. He made me improve my way of thinking.
